Bienvenidos / Welcome
The Black PR Collaborative Inc. (“the Collaborative” or "BPRC") is on a mission to foster positive cultural and economic activity for the Black/Afro-Latinx diaspora. With an initial focus on New York and Puerto Rico, the Collaborative intends to launch programming where individuals can share experiences that build stronger connections and community. The Collaborative’s ultimate vision is Black & Brown people living, working, and thriving across the diaspora.
For The Culture
From a cultural perspective, the Collaborative executed its inaugural annual programming around Juneteenth by highlighting the many contributions of Black/Afro-Latinx people. Our inaugural event, “Then & Now: How Jazz Music + Hair Bridge the Diaspora,” was made possible with support by Getty through its Johnson Publishing Archive initiative and other generous sponsors. Standing On Business
From an economic standpoint, the Collaborative aims to provide assistance to Black/Afro-Latinx/Latinx persons by connecting these individuals with resources to grow their business. Those meeting our eligibility requirements—in alignment with industry best practices—stand to receive free or steeply discounted legal services, accounting assistance, and general tech advice through our programming track.
